How to Make Legitimate Money Online

Millions of people are searching for ways to make money online with the hopes of quitting their day job. There are many programs out there and the truth is a lot of the money making programs either don’t work or are just out right scams. After extensive due diligence and $10,000 I did manage to find a few legitimate home based businesses.

If you haven’t heard of it already, sports arbitrage trading is spreading like wildfire across the internet. Sports arbitrage trading is not to be confused with gambling, which carriers a risk. Numerous arbitrage situations, also referred to as “sure bets”, “scalps” and “risk free bets”, are created every day in sport’s-betting markets amongst the increasing number of bookmakers operating worldwide. These are terms attributed to a minor flaw in the betting system where anyone can make a profit.

Here’s an example of just how sports arbitrage trading works. In sports betting, anyone can place a bet with bookmakers online and win or lose. The arbitrage comes in when a bet is placed with 2 bookmakers on the same sporting event. Because the odds differ between the 2 bookmakers, this creates an arbitrage opportunity. For example, if you were to place a bet with bookmaker A for $100 at odds 1/1 and $150 with bookmaker B at odds 6/4, it does not matter if you win or lose with either of the bookmakers; your net profit is $50.

The only difficult part may be setting up all of the bookmakers accounts, but once this is done the trading process is fairly easy. Sports arbitrage opportunities usually range anywhere from 1% profit to 15% profit. Though the 15% arbitrage opportunities do not last very long, they do exist. Realistically speaking it’s not uncommon to find a few really great arbitrage opportunities per day.

Many people get into these types of business thinking they are going to make millions overnight. Sports arbitrage trading does require a bit of learning and is extremely difficult when done manually. However, there are systems available online that have automated the process of finding arbitrage opportunities. The result has been a boom of people using systematic software to point and click their way to a road of success.

Making money online requires a specific type of mind-set in a person. I’ve seen it far too many times where people join up to these types of programs and expect to be a millionaire in a month or two. If you have ever heard the saying, “work hard now and play later” it’s so true. My experience with any type of home based business has been a lot of work upfront now and a lot of money later. The time and dedication does payoff.
